Abbaye de Morgeot — Domaine du Duc de Magenta
Chassagne-Montrachet · Puligny-Montrachet
Exceptional white wines from the Mac Mahon family, Duc de Magenta, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune since 1750.
An exceptional vineyard in the Côte de Beaune
Nestled in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet, the Duc de Magenta family estate extends over 12 hectares of vines among the most renowned in Burgundy. Our parcels range from the Clos de la Garenne in Puligny-Montrachet to the edge of the Burgundy wine-growing terroirs, with the historic estate at Chassagne-Montrachet at their heart — two of the most prestigious appellations in the world for Chardonnay. The Mac Mahon family vinifies in the centuries-old cellars of the Abbaye de Morgeot. Our emblematic cuvées in Puligny-Montrachet, initiated by Philippe de Mac Mahon, 4th Duc de Magenta, embody the quintessence of these exceptional limestone terroirs.
